Cette nouvelle hausse des temp\u00e9ratures ne concernera pas seulement le sud du pays : au fil des jours, elle pourrait gagner une grande partie du territoire. Mais pourquoi la France semble-t-elle une nouvelle fois plus expos\u00e9e que beaucoup d\u2019autres pays europ\u00e9ens ? La r\u00e9ponse tient \u00e0 une configuration m\u00e9t\u00e9o particuli\u00e8rement d\u00e9favorable, avec notre pays plac\u00e9 au carrefour de plusieurs influences chaudes.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00a0<\/h2>\n<h2>1. La France au c\u0153ur d\u2019un nouveau blocage anticyclonique<\/h2>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>La premi\u00e8re raison tient \u00e0 la position de l\u2019anticyclone. Lorsqu\u2019une cellule de hautes pressions s\u2019installe sur le proche Atlantique, le golfe de Gascogne ou directement sur la France, elle agit comme un couvercle. L\u2019air descend vers le sol, se comprime et se r\u00e9chauffe progressivement. Comme la situation \u00e9volue peu, ce m\u00e9canisme se r\u00e9p\u00e8te jour apr\u00e8s jour. La France se retrouve alors dans une zone de stagnation, avec peu de vent, peu de nuages et un fort ensoleillement. Contrairement aux pays plus au nord, qui peuvent rester partiellement influenc\u00e9s par l\u2019air oc\u00e9anique, ou \u00e0 certaines r\u00e9gions plus orientales de l\u2019Europe o\u00f9 les orages limitent parfois la hausse du thermom\u00e8tre, l\u2019Hexagone se situe souvent au centre du dispositif.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.meteo-paris.com\/uploads\/actu\/carte%20anomalie%20de%20pressions%206%20au%2013%20juillet%202026.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Un puissant anticyclone va favoriser la stagnation de l\u2019air chaud sur l\u2019Europe de l\u2019Ouest.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>2. Une chaleur<\/h2>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>La deuxi\u00e8me explication vient de l\u2019origine de la masse d\u2019air. Dans cette configuration, le flux s\u2019oriente souvent au sud ou au sud-ouest. Il fait remonter vers la France de l\u2019air d\u00e9j\u00e0 surchauff\u00e9 sur le Maroc, l\u2019Espagne et parfois le Portugal. La p\u00e9ninsule Ib\u00e9rique joue alors le r\u00f4le d\u2019un v\u00e9ritable four : l\u2019air y devient extr\u00eamement chaud avant de progresser vers le sud-ouest, l\u2019ouest puis le centre de la France. D&#8217;autre part, il ne faut pas oublier que le Sahara n&#8217;est situ\u00e9 qu&#8217;\u00e0 2000 km \u00e0 vol d&#8217;oiseau en direction du sud ! C\u2019est ce qui explique que les temp\u00e9ratures puissent rapidement d\u00e9passer les 35\u00b0C, et parfois approcher les 38 \u00e0 40\u00b0C lorsque la masse d\u2019air est suffisamment intense. La France n\u2019est donc pas seulement touch\u00e9e par une chaleur locale : elle re\u00e7oit une chaleur d\u00e9j\u00e0 amplifi\u00e9e par son trajet continental et ib\u00e9rique.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.meteo-paris.com\/uploads\/actu\/masse%20air%20prevue%20pour%20le%2015%20juillet.png\" \/><\/h2>\n<p><strong><em>La France est directement aliment\u00e9e par une masse d\u2019air br\u00fblante venue du Sahara &#8211; exemple de pr\u00e9visions <\/em><em>pour le 15 juillet 2026 (\u00e9videmment, cette carte n&#8217;est qu&#8217;un exemple et \u00e0 cette \u00e9ch\u00e9ance lointaine, la situation peut \u00e9voluer&#8230;).<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>3. Des sols d\u00e9j\u00e0 secs qui aggravent encore la chaleur<\/h2>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>La s\u00e9cheresse joue \u00e9galement un r\u00f4le majeur. Apr\u00e8s plusieurs semaines de chaleur et de manque de pluie, une partie des sols fran\u00e7ais a perdu une grande quantit\u00e9 d\u2019humidit\u00e9. Or, lorsque les sols sont humides, une partie de l\u2019\u00e9nergie solaire sert \u00e0 \u00e9vaporer l\u2019eau, ce qui limite la hausse de la temp\u00e9rature de l\u2019air. \u00c0 l\u2019inverse, lorsque les sols sont secs, presque toute cette \u00e9nergie chauffe directement la surface et les basses couches de l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re. C\u2019est un cercle vicieux : plus il fait chaud, plus les sols s\u2019ass\u00e8chent ; plus les sols s\u2019ass\u00e8chent, plus la chaleur devient intense. Cette situation rend la France particuli\u00e8rement vuln\u00e9rable, notamment dans le Sud-Ouest, le Centre, l\u2019Ouest int\u00e9rieur et une partie du Sud-Est.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.meteo-paris.com\/uploads\/actu\/anomalie_secheresse_google_discover.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Les sols secs limitent l\u2019\u00e9vaporation et renforcent la hausse des temp\u00e9ratures.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>4. Une mer M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e tr\u00e8s chaude et des nuits de plus en plus difficiles<\/h2>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>La M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e constitue un autre facteur aggravant. Lorsqu\u2019elle est anormalement chaude, elle limite le rafra\u00eechissement nocturne sur les r\u00e9gions littorales et peut accentuer la sensation de lourdeur. Les nuits tropicales deviennent alors plus fr\u00e9quentes, avec des minimales qui restent \u00e9lev\u00e9es jusqu\u2019au petit matin. Cette chaleur nocturne est particuli\u00e8rement \u00e9prouvante, car elle emp\u00eache les organismes, les logements et les villes de r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer. M\u00eame si les temp\u00e9ratures maximales ne battent pas toujours des records absolus, la r\u00e9p\u00e9tition des journ\u00e9es tr\u00e8s chaudes et des nuits insuffisamment fra\u00eeches rend l\u2019\u00e9pisode beaucoup plus difficile \u00e0 supporter.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.meteo-paris.com\/uploads\/actu\/carte%20anomalies%20des%20temperatures%20de%20la%20Mediterranee.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Une M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e tr\u00e8s chaude entretient des nuits lourdes sur le sud et les r\u00e9gions proches.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Une France plus expos\u00e9e que le reste de l\u2019Europe ?<\/h2>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Tous les pays europ\u00e9ens ne seront pas forc\u00e9ment \u00e9pargn\u00e9s, loin de l\u00e0. L\u2019Espagne, l\u2019Italie, la Suisse, le sud du Royaume-Uni ou encore une partie de l\u2019Allemagne pourront \u00e9galement conna\u00eetre de fortes chaleurs. Mais la France poss\u00e8de une position tr\u00e8s particuli\u00e8re : elle se situe entre la source de chaleur ib\u00e9rique et saharienne au sud, l\u2019anticyclone qui bloque l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re \u00e0 l\u2019ouest, et des sols d\u00e9j\u00e0 dess\u00e9ch\u00e9s qui accentuent les temp\u00e9ratures au sol. C\u2019est cette combinaison qui explique pourquoi notre pays peut de nouveau se retrouver parmi les zones les plus touch\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>La fiabilit\u00e9 devra encore \u00eatre affin\u00e9e pour conna\u00eetre l\u2019intensit\u00e9 exacte de cette nouvelle vague de chaleur. Toutefois, le signal g\u00e9n\u00e9ral est d\u00e9sormais clair : apr\u00e8s une courte accalmie, les temp\u00e9ratures vont repartir nettement \u00e0 la hausse. Et si la situation anticyclonique se bloque durablement, la France pourrait encore conna\u00eetre plusieurs journ\u00e9es tr\u00e8s \u00e9prouvantes, avec un risque aggrav\u00e9 pour la sant\u00e9, la
