Alors qu&#8217;un froid polaire concerne le Canada et la Russie, le p\u00f4le nord surchauffe et l&#8217;Europe est plong\u00e9e dans une impressionnante douceur.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Vortex polaire instable et gros contrastes<\/h2>\n<p>Cet hiver, le vortex polaire a \u00e9t\u00e9 fr\u00e9quemment instable. C&#8217;est \u00e0 dire qu&#8217;au lieu de concentrer l&#8217;air froid sur les r\u00e9gions polaires, il y a eu de fr\u00e9quentes incursions vers les latitudes moyennes. De plus, le printemps amplifie g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne. Lorsque les jours rallongent et que le p\u00f4le Nord se r\u00e9chauffe, le\u00a0vortex polaire devient de moins en moins compact. Il peut alors entra\u00eener des ondulations plus importantes du courant jet. Ainsi, des coul\u00e9es d&#8217;air froid peuvent d&#8217;\u00e9chapper du p\u00f4le en direction des latitudes moyennes et l&#8217;air doux peut aussi remonter vers les hautes latitudes.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.meteo-paris.com\/_next\/image?url=https%3A%2F%2Fs.meteo-villes.com%2Fuploads%2Factu%2Fvortex-printemps.png&amp;w=1920&amp;q=75\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Sch\u00e9ma d&#8217;un vortex polaire instable et d&#8217;un courant jet ondulant (classique au printemps)<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; NOAA<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>M\u00eame si l&#8217;instabilit\u00e9 du vortex polaire n&#8217;est pas la seule raison, les contrastes thermiques en cours sur l&#8217;h\u00e9misph\u00e8re nord sont tr\u00e8s marqu\u00e9s. Pr\u00e8s du p\u00f4le, les temp\u00e9ratures sont jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 20\u00b0C sup\u00e9rieures aux moyennes saisonni\u00e8res ! \u00c0 l&#8217;inverse, un<strong> d\u00e9ficit thermique d&#8217;une vingtaine de degr\u00e9s<\/strong> est observ\u00e9 dans le nord-ouest du Canada o\u00f9 le thermom\u00e8tre s&#8217;abaisse parfois vers <strong>-40 \u00e0 -45\u00b0C<\/strong> ! On retrouve les m\u00eames contrastes sur le continent eurasiatique avec le centre et l&#8217;ouest de l&#8217;Europe baign\u00e9s de douceur (19\u00b0C \u00e0 Paris ce 3 mars) tandis qu&#8217;un froid s\u00e9v\u00e8re concerne le nord-ouest de la Russie avec des pointes proches des <strong>-40\u00b0C<\/strong>, se situant <strong>20\u00b0C sous les normales <\/strong>de saison !<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.meteo-paris.com\/uploads\/actu\/anomalies-3mars.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Anomalie thermique dans l&#8217;h\u00e9misph\u00e8re nord ce mardi 3 mars 2026<\/strong><\/em> &#8211; climatereanalyzer.org<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>Am\u00e9rique du Nord : contrastes saisissants<\/h2>\n<p>Avec une vaste partie du Canada nettement sous les normales et des temp\u00e9ratures tr\u00e8s chaudes pour la saison dans le sud des USA, le continent nord-am\u00e9ricain enregistre actuellement des contrastes thermiques impressionnants.\u00a0Par exemple, la station de Pelly Ranch dans le\u00a0territoire du Yukon dans le nord-ouest du Canada a mesur\u00e9 <strong>-46,5\u00b0C<\/strong> en ce d\u00e9but mars 2026 tandis que la station de l&#8217;a\u00e9roport de Phoenix en Arizona dans le sud des USA a atteint <em>+33,9\u00b0C<\/em> !
